Banana Nut Bread
You mostly likely have eaten it, its one of the easiest breads to make and sinfully wonderful!!
Banana Nut Bread Baby!! This is the easiest recipe ever, and there are no special ingredients - well other than the bananas. Go on..try it.. it's not fattening!
REVISED - Banana Nut Bread
Here is what you need:
2 1/2 cups white sugar
1 cup shortening
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups mashed bananas
3 cups all purpose flour
1 1/4 cups buttermilk
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Cream together shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
Mix in bananas, buttermilk and vanilla. Mix in flour, baking powder and soda. Stir in pecans.
Pour batter into 2 greased 9x5 inch pans. Bake for 50 to 60 mins in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
1 package yellow cake mix
1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 12 muffin pan.
Mix together all ingredients. Spoon into muffin cups.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of one comes out clean.
Can you get in easier than that?
I used William Sonoma's Pumpkin Puree and did not add ground cloves, but I'm sure just the regular pumpkin puree will be just as good!! :)
